After the exceptional ideation and execution of SICFF 2017, we worked harder to ensure SICFF 2018 was a completely new experience.

We ensured that the entire festival had a different concept and design that left the guests in awe as they entered the venue.

SICFF 2018 was a magical Imagination Factory designed for children, where films went through the entire film making process inside a colorful factory!

The entire venue was converted into the factory, with different areas being factory inspired, for example, the workshops took place in Idea Laboratories that were complete with beakers and pipes that colorfully decorated its walls and surroundings. The laboratories even had real metal flooring to enhance the look & feel. Larger than life light bulbs were placed outside each workshop door, which the instructors were able to switch on if there was a workshop going on, signifying that ‘bright ideas’ were taking place.

The Imagination Factory also had an assembly line where larger than life cardboard boxes were being brought down by robotic arms that seemed like they were packing the boxes, which were then brought into larger than life cargo containers. The media rooms were cleverly designed as cargo containers as the media, figuratively speaking, ‘transports’ information worldwide.

Lastly, we had a realistic looking shipping port, with a massive ship that would bring out the films into the world.

The entire factory was a construction masterpiece and children of all ages enjoyed exploring it. Even the entire flooring that the children walked on to get to different areas had been made interactive.

We are extremely proud and thankful to have been given the chance once again to successfully design and deliver SICFF 2018, an opportunity we took to help inspire children of all ages to leave the event motivated to become our future filmmakers.
