PUBG Global Championship 2022

In November 2022, Mosaic Live took over the Dubai Exhibition Center at the Dubai EXPO2020 to set up an extraordinary arena for the inaugural Dubai Esports Festival 2022. Over a span of 10 days, our team constructed an impressive 70m x 45m stage, inspired by the iconic Burj Khalifa, in anticipation of PGC 32 top-tier teams from across the globe who would compete for the coveted title of the PUBG Global Championship. The 14-day elimination rounds culminated in a thrilling 4-day Championship Finale, with a total prize pool of $2,000,000 USD up for grabs.

Mosaic Live went above and beyond to ensure that the PGC 2022 was a seamless and unforgettable experience for all participants and the public. From the first pitch to the first site visit and onto a mind boggling three month planning phase, our scope of work included managing the extensive logistics of the ever growing event. Our operations team pulled out all the stops in providing overall production for the PGC gaming arena, main control centre, players practice lounge, crew for game days and supporting the global event broadcast team. The event was broadcast live on 55 media channels including official PUBG gaming platforms supporting multiple languages.

Key technical support of the opening and closing ceremonies included liaising closely with the AR technology team for a successful integration of the AR content with the PUBG gaming world for the reveal of the official PCG 2022 trophy on stage.
