Mosaic Live had the chance to work with the Middle East and Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) once again this year. MEADFA hosts an annual conference of which every two years is held in Dubai. MEADFA attracts all the top management from duty free brands and stores in the conference so we wanted to make sure that they left the event amazed. MEADFA had over twenty sponsors so we had to ensure everyone had enough space to exhibit their stands and we also ensured that their logos were visible in all our branding elements. More than 800 people attended the 2-day conference. In addition, MEADFA had a welcome gala dinner, two days of conference organised and successfully executed by Mosaic Live, then finally an after party – they all took place at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Garhoud.

For the conference, MEADFA’s goals were to discuss the industry’s newest trends and challenges within the duty free market of which Mosaic Live helped us stage. During the sessions, MEADFA used a log in web app for their Q&A sessions to keep the audience engaged in the discussion by putting up live poll questions and having the audience respond to them. We ensured our client achieves all their technical requirements for a lively debate. The conference content was well received thanks to the industry and business experts who addressed the delegates and gave their thoughts on the topics and trends that will shape the industry in the Middle East and Africa in 2018 and beyond. Some of the speakers were Ramesh Cidambi, COO of Dubai Duty Free, and Nuno Amaral, CEO Middle East, Aer Rianta International to name a few.
