Mosaic Live proudly hosted the Al Mandoos Ramadan Activation 2024, an event that beautifully blended talk show-style interaction with cherished traditions. As one of the leading event management companies in Dubai, Mosaic Live designed and executed this activation to perfection, creating a memorable experience for the audience and enhancing the program’s connection with its viewers.

Al Mandoos, a popular program on Sama Dubai, invites viewers to call in, share their reflections on the UAE and Ramadan, and participate in heritage-themed quizzes for a chance to win prizes. Hosted by the beloved journalist Abdulla Esmaeel, whose charismatic style and ability to engage with all segments of society have made the show a staple during Ramadan, this program enjoys a massive following among Emirati and Arab families.

To bring the show closer to its audience, Dubai TV decided to film three live episodes over three weekends in different locations across Dubai. As experienced event planners in Dubai, Mosaic Live was tasked with creating a live episode experience that would resonate with the community and celebrate the essence of Ramadan.

Our concept for the activation was to foster a celebratory atmosphere that catered to Emirati families and children. The event was thoughtfully divided into two zones: the main stage with audience seating for the live episode filming and a festival area featuring fun activities for kids, such as Ramadan-themed arts and crafts, face painting stations, and Awam digital platform screenings. Food and beverage stalls rounded off the guest experience, making it an all-encompassing event.

Mosaic Live, meticulously planned and executed the event across three venues over five days:

The event areas were opened to the public by 7:00 PM, with the live broadcast on Sama Dubai Channel beginning at 10:00 PM. A key feature of the event was the live draw, which was automated and open only to on-site visitors, adding an element of excitement and exclusivity. Attendees registered via QR codes, which were unique to each day, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

Despite the challenges posed by weather and unique venue conditions, Mosaic Live’s expertise as a premier event management company in Dubai ensured the success of the activation. From site visits to collaboration with Dubai TV and venue partners, every detail was handled with precision. Each venue was creatively designed to reflect the unique identity of the Al Mandoos studio set while accommodating the live broadcast and the on-ground audience experience.

The event drew large crowds, with the program host Abdulla Esmaeel promoting the shoot locations on his social media, further boosting attendance. The success of the event was evident, with a total footprint of approximately 7,000 attendees and 3,356 registrations for the live show draws, broadcast at 10:00 PM each day.
